Gordon House

While working as a project architect for Potter and Associates Architects, Dan had his first chance at designing a total home renovation.  The Gordon family wanted to take a nondescript house in a desirable neighborhood, and make it into a home with modern style.  The design involved removal of most of the interior partition walls, and replacing the front and back entries to the house with big areas of glass.  This approach, combined with skylights and an open stairwell to the lower level of the house, made the home open and full of natural light.
